Kaleidoscopes

 Welcome!

All kaleidoscopes are by inkspired using KaleidoCam app

Well, apparently I am stuck with the ‘new format’ blogger.

Sigh.

Just took me 5 minutes to place the welcome,

photo and description.

Not fun.

Sooooo......let’s begin our adventure!

Garden kaleidoscopes

I have enjoyed our flower gardens so much this year.

With all that color, texture and shape

they constantly cried out

“Take a photo!”

“Make kaleidoscopes!”

So, I did!

I had so many beautiful Black-eyed Susans this year,

planted from a mixed seed packet.

Yellow is a favorite color of mine -

so cheery!

You may have noticed that some other yellow flowers

have crept into my kaleidoscopes.

I also have yellow/white striped flowers,

daisies, and yellow day lilies to name a few.

Somehow purple is always plentiful in my garden,

so I suppose that is another fave flower color.

I know it is one of my favorite colors overall.

💜

I think I will close with just a few more

flower kaleidoscopes.

I have a plethora of them, you know!

Have you asked yourself

“Why does she keep posting

all those kaleidoscopes?”

‘Invent your world.

Surround yourself with people,

color, sounds, and work

that nourishes you.’

-SARK

I have shared this quote in past blogs.

It’s a sentiment that I believe needs to be repeated.

How short our memories can be!

Toxic people

Toxic thoughts and

Toxic habits-

They are all insidious, sneaky things

that creep into our lives and we don’t even realize it.

I have found in my life that these damaging people,

relationships, actions and habits are

Extremely Difficult

to break free from; to remove them;

to say NO! to.

That is their strength-

To fool you into believing false things

about yourself, about your self esteem

and how you see the world through their eyes

not the eyes of truth and beauty.

How does this relate to kaleidoscopes?

I am surrounding myself with beauty!

I am reminded of the wonders that abound

all around me, every day!

“We can only be said to be alive

in those moments when our hearts

are conscious

of our treasures.”

- Thornton Wilder

Kaleidoscopes are fascinating.
They take a picture, and by division and separation
create something altogether new!

By turning your kaleidoscope slightly
you are shown an all new perspective..
new colors, new shapes!

Okay, I’m giving away my secret:

KaleidaCam

This is the app I use.
You can find it in the App Store!

Have a color-filled, awesome day!

Truth: usually experienced before 10am or coffee-

If you see dropped food on the bottom of the oven, do not attempt to remove if the oven is turned ON.
Coils are hot. Check on/off first.

Kaleidoscopes and free apps

Welcome!

Kaleidoscope by inkspired

I was waiting in a restaurant recently, waiting for some friends.

Since I can never just ‘sit’

I always bring something to read, something to do.

That day I had my iPad so I started editing my

Kaleidoscopes.

A customer walked past and commented

‘Is that one of those coloring pages?’

He explained he had just downloaded an app for coloring.

I replied that no, this was from an app called

KaleidaCam

that uses my camera and iPad to create kaleidoscopes.

He really liked the few I showed him, and copied down the name.

I hope he found the app, it is such a fun one!

I downloaded mine free, through the site called

AppAdvice.

Great site! Every day there are 3-4 apps to choose from,

Totally free!

(Usually cost from  $ .99 - 6.99 or so)

To make these fun and beautiful kaleidoscopes I use the
KaleidaCam app, with my iPad camera.

Sometimes you can figure out what I am capturing,

Like the flowers in my garden, above.

Sometimes it is a mystery!

I hope they have brought a bit of beauty into your life today.
