Gnome Days

Good Day!

Have you been caught in the GNOME-FEVER?
It can be a very dangerous-to-your-pocketbook fever,
and should be avoided at all costs.
There is no cure.
People suffering from Gnome-Fever are weakened,
and easily infected with
Severe Cute Factor.
There is no cure.
The affected person can sometimes lower their Gnome-Fever
with constant, repeated exposure of fairies and elves and trolls.
However, cases have been recorded that this exposure
may worsen the Gnome-Fever.

"There's no people like gnome people..."
song phrase

"Perhaps imagination is only
intelligence having fun."

- George Scialabba

WARNING:
You may aggravate your Gnome-Fever by inviting them to your garden:

'The wall is silence, the grass is sleep,
Tall trees of peace their vigil keep,
And the Fairy of Dreams with moth-wings furled
Plays soft on her flute to the drowsy world.'

- Ida Rentoul Outhwaite

When trying to help someone with Gnome-Fever,
check out their gardens.
This is a common area where Gnome-Fever is accelerated.

"You can't depend on your eyes
when your imaginatiom
is out of focus!"

- Mark Twain

"Sometimes I've believed as many as
six impossible things
before breakfast."

- Lewis Carroll

I send all my wishes for a quick recovery to all you that have
Gnome-Fever.
It is apparently spreading,
and there is no cure!

or lie prone under the trees of the forest,
or sprawl wet-legged by a mountain stream,
the great door, that does not look like a door,
opens."

Some lovely spring green mermaids:

Why, here are a  couple of Trolls with a love of Spring Green!

thanks OrigamiBears!

These Trolls are so cute - and it would be very easy to make more clothes for them from magazines or scrap paper. How about scraps of scrapbooking paper?

"To one who has been long in city spent,
'Tis very sweet to look into the fair
And open face of heaven - to breathe a prayer
Full in the smile of the blue firmament."
