A Book for Every Occasion

Welcome!

I love books!

I love to read!

I also love fashion.
Hmmmm....

It seems I can read my book, and wear it too!

Oh, we could go on and on, couldn’t we?
😊
Alas, I have laundry to do,
phone calls to make,
cards to mail,
and so much more...

My hope is that today’s blog has brought a smile to your face,
Encouraged you to find a good book to read,
And inspired you to be a bit creative.

‘Til next time,

Tip:
Say thank you to your FedEx and UPS drivers
And your mail person -
They are out in nasty weather while you are
warm and snuggly with hot coffee.

Fashion by the Book

Welcome!
Playin’ with my apps!

Today I want to combine 2 favorites of mine-
Fashion and Books!

French fashion designer Sylvie Facon

Found this wonderful French fashion designer,
Sylvie Facon

She designs the most fabulous, awesome
and unique fantasy book gowns!

Each of her dresses are elaborately embroidered and quilted.

Wow!

I am completely in love with Ms. Facon’s fantasy work!

Here is one where she has printed book pages onto fabric,
and then stitched them into the bodice of the dress.

We need a fairytale ball so we can all indulge in some
fantasy, fairytale finery, don’t you think?
Hmmm...
That could be a fun blog!
