Give someone a smile today -
that can be the best gift of all sometimes!

Think homeless person you pass everyday,
that receptionist you never acknowledge,
the bus'boy' at you favorite fast food restaurant,
the cashier at the coffee shop -
these are the 'faceless' people that we don't see
every day!
Why not follow up that smile with a heart-felt 'Thanks!'

Roses for my sweetheart

  Good Day!

c.1909

"Write it on your heart
that every day
is the best day
in the year."

- Ralph Waldo Emerson

"We cannot change yesterday, that is clear.
Or begin tomorrow until it is here;
So all that is left for you and for me,
Is to make today as sweet as can be.

- Emma C. Doud

"A kiss is a lovely trick
designed by nature to stop speech
when words become superfluous."

- Ingrid Bergman

This rose is designed to cut out,
using scherensnitte techniques -
a small pair of scissors or an X-acto type knife.
Make sure to cut only the open areas.
When you are finished you can mount it onto colored paper,
and it will be just lovely framed!

They're beautiful because you love them."

That's all for today.
Have a wonderful day, and a special tomorrow.
