Multi season free paperdolls

Hi!
Today I want to share with you some paperdolls that have clothes for different seasons, as opposed to a paper doll with clothes dedicated to one season.

I just love all the different costumes in it!

Luba is a Russian set of doll and costumes -

Sugar and Spike are from an old cartoon series.

While I realize this is a "Halloween" set, they have a very versatile grouping,

so I decided to include them!

Coming up is a great set for you to color on a rainy day -

The last three pages of paper dolls I have today are from Germany -

Most if not all of these paperdolls are probably under a copyright of some kind.
Use them for your personal use, and have lots of fun!
DON'T print/scan/adjust and think you can sell them. You can't.

Budget Craft ideas:

Let these images inspire you to make costumes for yourself or some little ones.

Why not print out some, cut and then make greeting cards out of them! Your recipient will have a one of a kind handmade-by-you card to treasure.

You could print out several and attach to yarn/string for a budget home decorating idea.  Wouldn't that be cute in a child's room? Hang the garlands over the top of curtains for a window topper.

You can also print and spray glue a solid color cardstock to the back. Then lamate them together and cut out. Great idea for a mobile in your sewing room, or again in a little girl's room. Go for all boy paper dolls and costumes, and you have a fun decoration for your boy also!

So many ideas jumbling around in my head....

Craft Fair tomorrow

Hello, all!
I am late (again) in getting this out. I have been going down all kinds of bunny trails, trying to sort out my things I want to sell tomorrow. Getting the displays right, inventory, etc.
Eek!
I have started on a blog, but it is proving to need more of my time than I want to give today, so it is saved for another day!

Yep, I'm going to fall back on one of BIG favorites today - paper dolls!

It is kind of a small set, so here is another one for your enjoyment.
These are Danish paper dolls that I have tagged "Dorte":

ALL of these dolls are just perfect to make lots more clothes for!
Get out those pencils, tracing paper, patterned paper scraps, bits of lace, ribbon, glitter....oh just all kinds of materials to make your costumes special!

at least, it's morning here.
I have just a few minutes for a blog today, so I will try not to talk too much!!!

Here is a fun set of paperdolls, with lots of costumes and outfits:

Here is a fun little beaded project that will work up in no time!

You could add it to the front of a Halloween card!

You could make several in a row, and make a boo-ti-ful bracelet!

Stiffen it up with some floor wax, and put a pin on the back for a brooch.
Oh, put the pin on first, then the floor wax!

Here is a great costume idea that you can get everything from your own closets, with perhaps a vist to ARC to find a black hat:

Here is a belly dancer costume idea. Take the idea and make it your own!

A day for preparing for Halloween Festivities

oooooooooooooooooo......

that's fake ghost speak for...

well...

anything you want it to be!

Today I want to celebrate the FUN in Halloween.

Charlie Brown and Snoopy type FUN.

Cute little cat FUN.

Dressing up as FUN characters.

Do I believe in ghosts and witches and flying brooms?

nope.

Do I believe in witchcraft?

yep, with a 'but'.

G-d is the only final authority on this world.

There may be evil beings, and evil people doing evil things

but G-d will always triumph.

Much to their dismay.

So can evil scare me?

nope.

It can startle me however!

Why am I not scared, or participate in 'evil' scary things?

Because I have the LORD Jesus Christ as my Saviour,

with His Holy Spirit dwelling in me.

He sits at the right hand of G-d,

and rules heaven and earth.

So in other words....I know the Boss and the Boss loves me!

Why would I want to portray anything else?

How can anything really scare me? (see the Boss line above!)

Does G-d allow evil things to happen?

yep.

Why?

I am not a theologian, who delight in that type of questioning.

I just know G-d's promises,

and that He is faithful to His Word.

I know that Light will always conquer dark.

Right will always conquer wrong.

Kind of a heavy way to start a blog about FUN!!

I just wanted you to know where I am coming from.

So can I have FUN if ghosts, witches and bony things are involved?

yep - as long as it is done in FUN!

(p.s. I am spelling the name of Jehovah "G-d" in respect to my Jewish friends)

and I'm pretty sure that dancing skeletons are fun!!

I have to play a little catch up because I told you I would have a paperdoll a day until the end of October.

oops.....forgot yesterday!

I LOVE this series of moustaches that Girlontherocks made.

Next up is a cute little cat pin.

Make it up in shades of the rainbow from felt.

I have made many of these, and they work up very quickly.

You can add beads for kitty's features,

but NOT if there is a small child involved, of course.

I usually just embroider the features with thread.

Sew a small safety pin on the back.

Be sure you sew it on so it is easily opened and closed!

I believe these patterns came out of one of Sandra Lounsbury Foose's books.

I have all of them except one, which is on quilting.

I plan to buy it, and use it for paper quilting,

just haven't done it yet.

only add some sharp (felt) teeth,

and just a dab of red paint.....
