Mauve-elous Mauve

 Mauve!

What a subtle, changeable color!
Is it Pink?
Purple?
Is it a warm color or a cool color?

Yes! To all of the above

Today let’s explore a color that changes depending on the season, current fashion dictates and perhaps…
the slant of the sun!

- many of my photos have been found on Pinterest, with no ID or credit given. If you can help me give credit where credit is due, please leave me a note. Thanks!

No matter whether it has brown added -

Or blues -

Or a little more red -

We can still call it mauve.

In my head I have a certain shade I think of as mauve.
While researching this blog, I discovered that there are many more shades to identify it than mine.
Depending on who is promoting the color, these next shades are ALL considered mauve:

In fashion it seems designers tend more towards a pink shade of mauve -

and a fitting tribute to the life and death of Steve Jobs,
founder and CEO of Apple:

I'm sorry, I don't have a photo credit for this one.
Do you know who took this photo? Let me know!

Of course, what would a good apple blog be without at least some puzzles, mazes and free coloring pages!

You know I have to say it....

Make some clothes for Bubbles!
Dress him for Thanksgiving.
Make a Bubbly Bear female, and dress her too!

I'm thinking Christmas activities for the kids,
after a meal,
when the adults want to visit and chat

(boooring for kids.....)

Print out some of my FREE PAPER DOLLS

(my past blogs have TONS of them!)

give the kids some scissors
- you choose if they need 'safety' scissors or not -
a place to hang out,
and some blank paper, pencils, crayons, markers,
whatever the age appropriate coloring choice is
and let them create!

Next I would include the cutest little bead pattern for
a pair of apple earrings.
Can't figure out how to copy/paste this particular format, so go to
