Welcome!

I think of January as Snow Month.
In Colorado we actually have more snow in March.
When I was teaching we had a Snow Day in May one year!
A Snow Day means the roads were so bad
the school districts closed school for the day.

Snow is fascinating.
Did you know there are no duplicates of snowflakes?
Each snowflake is unique, one-of-a-kind!
Wow!
“I wish I could
press snowflakes in a book
like flowers.”

‘Under the microscope I foundthat snowflakes were miracles of beauty;
and it seemed a shame that this beauty
should not be seen and appreciated by others.
Every crystal was a masterpiece of design
and no one design was ever repeated.
 When a snowflake melted,
 that design was forever lost.
Just that much beauty was gone,
without leaving any record behind.”

I hope you have time to stop,
quiet your mind
and listen to the snowflakes fall.
There’s nothing quite like it.
